The taste is perfectly on par with ceremonial matcha I had while in japan, the color is great, smells great, and leave no residue in the bowl. 10/10 i have already recommended it to multiple of my friends, and my go to matcha cafe

been making matcha at home 4ish years. this is the smoothest ive ever whisked. i dont even need to sift tbh although i still do out of habit. the grind must be super fine. side note, the tin is pretty. i know thats not the point but i keep my matcha on the counter and the lid pops off easy. my old brand had those annoying screw tops that got stuck after like 2 uses. small thing. 5 stars

Okay so I'm new to matcha, like VERY new. I bought this as my first real tin because I wanted to start with something good. The matcha is amazing, I'll say that first. But I'm docking a star because I wish there was a little card in the box with prep instructions? Like how much powder, how hot the water, etc. I ended up watching a bunch of YouTube videos and I think I finally got it, but a tip sheet for beginners like me would be huge. Once I figured it out, it's been so good. My morning energy is crazy compared to when I was drinking coffee. No crash, no jitters. Definitely buying again.
ok confession i bought this bc of tiktok and i was fully expecting it to be hype. its not?? texture is smooth, chasen glides right through it, none of that paste-ball thing i was fighting with on my last brand. i will say its definately pricey, so if youre just starting out maybe get a cheaper tin first and work up. but like. this is what you work up to

lmao my husband took a sip of mine thinking it was a smoothie (no i dont know how) and now he drinks it with me every morning. never happened with the cheap grocery store stuff. idk what to say other than it converted a coffee guy. organic matters to me and its uji. im not tryna spend a thousand bucks on their reserve YET but this is what i wanted the higher grades to taste like. 5 stars
wanted to like this but my tin came dented and the inner seal was cracked when i opened it. the matcha inside was still green and tasted fine, color was good etc, but for the price i expected better packaging. customer service offered to replace which was fine of them but i just wanted to warn other buyers. 3 stars because the product is clearly quality, packaging let it down

bought this to get off ippodo bc shipping from japan has gotten insane and im not patient. honestly? comparable. umami is there, color is there, texture is smooth. i usually prefer slightly more delicate but this is a bit more robust which some of yall will love. 5 stars just for value alone
ok so im not a review person but this shit is genuinely good. ive tried a bunch of matcha, been on the journey for like 6 years now, and this is up there. color is insane. like it doesnt look real when you open the tin. been drinking it straight every morning for 3 weeks now and still exiting to get out of bed for it lol. yeah. good stuff
